Our Service
New Bards Music is a comprehensive, reliable resource for planners and hosts looking to obtain the perfect live music for their event. We have extensive experience playing at wedding ceremonies, corporate functions, cocktail hours, and numerous other social gatherings.
Background Music
At venues such as cocktail hours, receptions, or dinner parties, we often provide musicians to play "background music". This might be a string quartet playing works by Haydn or Mozart, a solo pianist improvising jazz, or a number of other possibilities. The effect is an elegant backdrop to the noise of the reception. Guests can converse comfortably with this ambient music, relax in the vicinity of the musicians, or just enjoy the soft, musical atmosphere while ordering drinks.
Featured Music
For events such as wedding ceremonies, memorials, and elegant house parties, we provide musicians to play "featured music". When working on a wedding, we'll collaborate closely with you and/or your planner over time to determine what style of music will best bring out the specific beauty of your personal ceremony. For memorials and more sober events, we'll guide you in making a timely selection of the most appropriate pieces to honor your loved one. Whatever your event, we'll handle all of the performance details so that you can focus on your important day without unnecessary stress.
Custom
We've gotten some really outside-the-box requests over the years, to put it lightly. We always love new challenges and opportunities to develop our art, so whatever your needs or ideas, let us know and we'll do our best to embody your vision!
