Elianto Quintet

     New Bards Music, Inc. is proud to present its premiere performing ensemble, its "Option Deluxe": the Elianto Quintet. Featuring five exceptional players trained at The Juilliard School, the group is comprised of string quartet and double bass, and is striking for its richness of sonority, impressive visual appeal, and mastery of a wide range of musical styles. With a versatile repertoire of everything from wedding classics to cocktail hour jazz standards to popular tunes by the Beatles and others, the Elianto Quintet will be a huge success at your event, and your guests will be raving about it for years to come!

     The Elianto Quintet was formed several years ago in New York City. It consists of students and graduates from the Juilliard School in Manhattan, one of the world's premier performing arts institutions. The quintet performs throughout New York and the tri-state area for various events and venues, including weddings, parties, fundraisers, and corporate events. The ensemble also participates actively in the community, performing in association with the Gluck Community Service Fellowship program at the Juilliard School in hospitals, nursing homes, and treatment facilities. As part of the Music Under New York program, the quintet receives the unique opportunity to perform directly for the public at various MTA locations, including Times Square.

     Individually, the quintet members have performed across America and the globe (including Germany, Austria, Denmark, France, Italy, China, Japan, and Israel) and have received top prizes and awards from competitions such as the Irving M. Klein International String Competition, Cleveland Institute of Music Concerto Competition, and ASTA Competition. As soloists, chamber, and orchestral musicians, the members of the quintet have performed and trained with members of the Chicago, Minnesota, Boston, and New York City Ballet Orchestras, as well as with members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Juilliard String Quartet, and Lincoln Center Chamber Players. Elianto Quintet members hold degrees from various programs as well as their Juilliard education, including the Cleveland Institute of Music and Columbia University and have been featured national radio stations, including WNET and WCLV, as well as on national television. Members of the Elianto Quintet can also be heard on the theme music for Channel Thirteen, the most watched public television channel in the country.
